For engineers who want a job in Germany

300 applications.
LESS than 5 interviews.
Then I changed my method.

My next 40 applications got 10 interviews and 5 job offers in Germany. German Job Myth shows you what I changed, step by step, in simple English.

The author's own numbers

Same person. Same degree. Different method.

1.67%
2016. More than 300 applications. Fewer than 5 interviews.
25%
2022. 40 applications. 10 interviews. No cover letters.
5
Job offers from those 10 interviews. Half of them said yes.
15×
Better result. Offers were between 65,000€ and 90,000€ a year.

Nothing about me changed between 2016 and 2022. Only the way I applied changed. That way is what this book teaches.

Why nobody replies to you

Four myths that keep your inbox empty

You are not being rejected because you are weak. You are being rejected because you believe the wrong things about how Germany hires.

MYTH 1

"More applications = more chances."

Truth: 300 copy-paste applications gave fewer than 5 interviews. 40 focused ones gave 10. Volume is not a plan.

MYTH 2

"Need perfect German before apply."

Truth: Many international companies work in English. German opens more doors, and the book tells you honestly when you need it and when you do not.

MYTH 3

"No cover letter, no interview calls."

Truth: In Germany the cover letter is optional. All 5 of my job offers came without one. Your resume does the heavy work.

MYTH 4

"Job portals are the only door."

Truth: Some experts say up to 30% of jobs go to people who write to the company on their own, with no job ad. Roles above 60,000€ are often filled through recruiters.

3€ is not the real cost.

The real cost is your next 100 applications with no reply, while someone with a weaker profile gets the interview you wanted.

About the author

I washed dishes before I got offers

I am Ameenur Rahaman. I came to Germany in 2012 for my master's degree. I did not speak German. To pay my way I washed dishes, cooked Thai food, worked in a bar and drove tours around Europe.

After my degree I sent more than 300+ applications and got fewer than 5 interviews. So I stopped guessing. I studied how German hiring really works and changed my method. Recently I applied to 40 jobs. I got 10 interviews and 5 offers.

I wrote this book so you do not lose the years I lost.

What readers say

"I'm very happy to share that I've now received and accepted a new job offer!"
"Hello Ameen, Finally I got the offer. Your LinkedIn network key idea literally worked."
"Key takeaways from this: be consistant, be active in LinkedIn always and keep doing networking."

Questions people ask

Q: How do I get the book?
A: You pay, and the PDF comes to your email. The next page gives you the links to all 6 bonus tools.
Q: Will this book get me a job?
A: No book can promise that. It gives you the method that took me from 300 applications with almost no reply to 5 offers. You still have to do the work.
Q: Do I need to know German to use it?
A: No. The book is in simple English. Chapter 5 tells you when German matters and how to start learning it.
Q: I am not an engineer. Is it still useful?
A: The examples come from engineering and IT. The resume format, the application steps and the interview rules are the same for most office jobs in Germany.
Q: Why only 3€?
A: Because the price should never be the reason you keep applying the wrong way.

Two kinds of pain.
You choose one.

The pain of discipline, or the pain of regret. You can spend one evening with this book now. Or you can look back next year at the same empty inbox.
